The Mayor of Horche, **Manuel Salvador Ruiz**, recently presented the **Nova Horche Platform** initiative, an ambitious logistics project envisioned as a “major bridge between Madrid and eastern Spain.” The development aims to position Horche as a strategic hub within the Henares Corridor, strengthening connectivity and facilitating the movement of goods between the Spanish capital and the country’s main eastern transport routes.

Located just over 55 kilometres from Madrid, the municipality of Horche is set to benefit from this infrastructure, which is designed not only to enhance regional logistics capabilities but also to stimulate the local economy and create new employment opportunities. The platform has been conceived as a flexible, modern logistics and industrial space, capable of attracting both national and international investment, further consolidating Horche’s position as a key logistics destination in Castilla-La Mancha.

The project reinforces the municipality’s and the province of Guadalajara’s territorial development strategy by integrating efficiency, sustainability, and connectivity into a single vision. According to the Mayor, the Nova Horche Platform will not only strengthen freight transport and distribution networks but will also act as a catalyst for economic growth and industrial development across the region, establishing Horche as a strategic location within Spain’s logistics sector.

The development is expected to generate **more than 3,000 jobs**, while its proximity to Madrid and strong transport links will help attract and retain young talent, contributing to the fight against depopulation and supporting long-term, sustainable growth in the area.
