Madrid, 6 October 2026. Automation of operations, packaging reuse and the transformation of industrial spaces will take centre stage at Empack, Logistics & Automation and Logistic & Industrial Build Madrid 2026. The professional events for packaging, logistics and logistics and industrial construction, organised by Easyfairs, will welcome 102 new exhibiting companies and expand their specialised areas to showcase solutions addressing these challenges. The event will take place on 11 and 12 November at Halls 2, 4 and 6 of IFEMA Madrid.

The 2026 edition is expected to bring together more than 450 exhibiting companies across 31,500 m², with a content programme featuring more than 250 experts. Key highlights include the launch of Empack Reuse, dedicated to reusable packaging, and the increased focus on AI & Logistics Tech. Logistic & Industrial Build will welcome new exhibitors and, for the second consecutive year, will feature the participation of the Community of Madrid. As a joint initiative across all three events, the second edition of the Best ESG Exhibitor Initiative Awards will also take place.

“Companies are looking for solutions they can integrate into their operations and suppliers who understand their business challenges. That is why we have expanded this year’s offering to bring professionals new proposals and help them assess how they can be applied to their operations. We want every visitor to find contacts who can help them move their projects forward and address their needs,” says Oscar Barranco, Managing Director of Easyfairs Iberia.

Empack launches a dedicated space for reuse

Empack will strengthen its offering of packaging machinery, materials and solutions with the addition of companies such as Boix Maquinaria Spain, Esko, Stora Enso, Minebea Intec, igus, PackBenefit, Prime Biopolymers, Reisopack, osapiens and Tompla Packaging, among others. Their participation will expand representation across areas such as packaging automation, labelling and digitalisation, alongside alternatives focused on packaging and container circularity.

One of the main new features will be Empack Reuse, a dedicated space showcasing companies and solutions related to reuse. Its launch responds to growing interest in reusable packaging in light of the new European framework on packaging and packaging waste, the PPWR.

The new area will feature companies including Recyclia, Cartonplast, Engelvin, Prime Biopolymers, Implica, osapiens, Karton Iberia – CIPASI, Corplex, Envalora, Fych Technologies and Ondaplast, among others. Several of these companies are joining the event for the first time this year, strengthening the offering around circularity and new materials.

The initiative will also continue in the Empack Theatre, with content focused on reuse and the key challenges arising from the new regulatory landscape. One of the major highlights of this edition will be the PPWR Academy, a new space opening the conference programme across both days, where industry experts will break down the key aspects of the new European Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), from its implications to the practical challenges of implementation for businesses.

More technology applied to logistics operations

Logistics & Automation will expand its representation of automation, robotics and software companies with new exhibitors such as Linde Material Handling, SealedAir, SEW-EURODRIVE, Transporeon, VisionNav Robotics, Itoh Denki Europe, Odoo, Banner Engineering, NovaX Robotics and MABO Automation, among others. It will also feature Produtech-Cluster for Manufacturing Technologies, bringing together Portuguese companies in a group stand. This will give professionals the opportunity to discover new suppliers and solutions for digitalising processes and improving supply chain management.

Technology will once again take centre stage at Logistics & Automation Madrid through AI & Logistics Tech, a 700 m² area bringing together 36 companies specialising in artificial intelligence, software and technology solutions applied to logistics. Companies exhibiting in this area will include Mecalux, KNAPP, ABB, Clustag RFID Solutions, B2Wise, Mujin Europe, PTV, Tesisquare, ImperIA, Generix Group/DeliverEA, Hardis Supply Chain, Unigis and KaiRA, alongside other specialised providers. The area will allow visitors to explore software, automation and digitalisation tools and assess their potential application to their operational needs.

These companies will be complemented by the conference and specialised session programme, in which artificial intelligence and operational efficiency will play a prominent role.

LIB expands its representation of logistics and industrial construction

Logistic & Industrial Build will strengthen its offering for professionals involved in the design, construction and transformation of logistics and industrial assets. Its 11 new exhibitors include FINSA, 3DModular, EGEIN, Centro de Transportes Aduana de Burgos, Inespro, Metalcomercial, Pulsar Krean and Eurostick, among other companies and organisations.

In addition, the Community of Madrid will renew its participation in LIB for the second consecutive year. It will be joined by companies such as Ángel Mir, Magnovent, Sacine, ProSistemas, Indupavi and Inkema, helping to broaden representation across the different areas involved in the development and fit-out of these assets.

The exhibition area will be complemented by content and professional networking spaces designed to facilitate knowledge exchange between developers, construction companies, engineering firms and other sector stakeholders.

The ESG Awards will recognise new exhibitor initiatives

The 2026 edition will also host the II Best ESG Exhibitor Initiative Awards, launched by Easyfairs to showcase exhibitor projects related to environmental, social and governance criteria. The awards ceremony will take place on 12 November at 4:00 pm in the Empack Theatre.

The awards will recognise best practices in areas such as sustainability, organisational wellbeing, responsible innovation and social impact. Projects will be assessed based on factors including their alignment with the companies’ strategies, stakeholder involvement and the results achieved.

With this second edition, the organisers aim to encourage the exchange of experiences and showcase initiatives that can serve as a reference for other companies.

Professionals interested in attending can already register for free through the events’ websites. A single registration provides access to all three events, their exhibition areas and the full content programme.
