Limitations of Axial Fans vs. Centrifugal Fans
Despite their advantages, axial fans have some limitations compared to centrifugal fans. While they offer excellent airflow, they do not generate as much static pressure, reaching speeds of up to 10 m/s, making them less suitable for very large industrial entrances or areas with strong drafts. In these cases, centrifugal fans, which create a more solid air barrier, may be a more effective option.
